At Norseman Construction, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy art, no matter what their struggles may be. That’s why we’ve decided to sponsor the Messiah for the City concert at The Cathedral of St. James on Saturday, December 16, 2017.
We are very proud to announce that this year, Norseman Construction will be the sole-sponsor of the event. We believe that this event is a wonderful opportunity to help families and individuals in a special way. This year, the event will feature some of the best musical talents around:
With tickets being distributed by United Way, we hope to share the amazing and beautiful art of music with others.
Messiah for the City, started in the 1990s by the late Jack Layton, is a concert for those around us who normally would not have the leisure to partake in these arts events. The event features various musical talents such as choir groups and solo artists who perform wonderful music pieces for those attending. The event is held at The Cathedral of St. James, the longest-lasting church in the city, being established in 1797. The event has been held at the church every year since the late 90s, bringing a new experience and joy in the form of music to those less fortunate.
